Google is evil, we MUST find an alternative, meanwhile, educate yourself, use different browsers and search engines, like duck and Mozilla. Don't give Google all your info.

it's amazing what youtube can let happen.

C'mon, you're not that stupid, are you? There was no accident. There was no algorithmic hiccup. What happened to you was a warning. It was a robot book-sniffing dog in Fahrenheit 451 being sent to your front door.

This is the future Kafka was trying to warn us about!
Andres Cabezas
At this point in history, I would go beyond calling NO-vid's algorithmic suspensions "accidental" and would call them "negliglent" instead.
Andres Cabezas
Especially the "no prior warning" part of these suspensions.

So here we have a constitutional right, "In Suits at common law, where the value in controversy shall exceed twenty dollars, the right of trial by jury shall be preserved..." that the Supreme Court held Congress can abrogate, under the US Arbitration Acton of 1925 and subsequent case law. For those not recognizing the quoted text, it's the beginning of the 7th Amendment. As a quick, originalist reminder, "Agreements to arbitrate were not enforceable at common law, traced back to dictum by Lord Coke in Vynor’s Case, 8 Co. Rep. 81b, 77 Eng. Rep. 597 (1609), that agreements to arbitrate were revocable by either party." That's why a true libetarian is not particularly fond of either political party. Unless you (whisper it very quietly) believe we should (please don't choke as the heresy passes your lips) think we should REGULATE big mega corps that want the advantage of benefiting from laws that protect intellectual property, enforcement proceedings against scofflaws, and felony prosecution of scammers who abuse the trust necessary for free markets to prosper...

I think suspensions, demonetizations, bans, copyright strikes, and similar things should be decided by a jury of peers, instead of by an algorithm. If there's a concern over a channel or video, then an algorithm can select, say, 13 other users of a similar stature, (like say, between 4 and 4.5 million subs), and ask them to review the content and determine if it violates policies or laws or anything. Not only would this reduce false flags getting through, it would help familiarize people with the process, and make it so that everyone depends on everyone else. You wouldn't vote against a channel just because you don't like them, because tomorrow they could be voting on your issue. Probably not a perfect system, but better than having your channel suddenly suspended for the crime of following all the rules. Incidentally, I think that's how Minds.com handles it, and they've just launched a partners program to help creators earn money on their platform.
